KHACHATURYAN

The Aram Khachaturian House-Museum in Yerevan announced a new project in 2023 in collaboration with designer Vardoui Nazarian. The museum granted her access to archival posters from the ballets Spartacus, Gayane, and Happiness.

Vardoui Nazarian developed a capsule collection for the museum, working at the intersection of advertising art, fashion, and new technologies. The collection features garments made from unconventional materials, including milk-based fabrics.

The project aims to draw the attention of Vardoui Nazarian’s audience and the international press to Armenia — a small country that gave the world great cultural figures like Aram Khachaturian. Proceeds from the collection will go toward supporting the Aram Khachaturian House-Museum in Yerevan and preserving the legacy of the renowned Armenian composer.

The project — which Vardoui Nazarian has been developing for over two years — is scheduled to launch in September 2025 under the patronage of the Tuff Foundation.

Unlocking Leonardo’s Armenian Enigma: Between Genius and Sacred Geography

Beneath the mirror-script and cryptic diagrams of da Vinci’s manuscripts lies a forgotten thread—an untold connection to the ancient landscapes of Armenia. Our project transcends conventional deciphering, employing advanced spectral imaging and AI-driven pattern recognition to isolate fragments where Leonardo’s curiosity intersects with Armenian history, sacred architecture, or lost knowledge from the crossroads of civilizations. Was it the mystique of Mount Ararat that captured his attention? The astronomical precision of medieval Armenian observatories? Or a deeper, esoteric link yet to be revealed?

By applying neural network analysis to his marginalia and geometric sketches, we reconstruct a hidden narrative—one where da Vinci’s notes may encode encounters with Armenian travelers, references to vanished manuscripts, or even cryptographic maps pointing to artifacts of untold significance. This is not merely translation; it is an archaeological excavation of thought, revealing how the Renaissance’s greatest mind might have been influenced by the whispers of the Armenian highlands. The implications could reshape our understanding of both Leonardo’s legacy and Armenia’s role in the transmission of forgotten wisdom.

The key lies in the gaps—the strokes of ink where meaning blurs, the unfinished sketches where Armenia’s shadow lingers. We are not just reading his words. We are tracing the echoes of a dialogue lost to time.
